Atheneum Suite Hotel - Detroit

A real good stay on vacation.

This was a really good stay for a Greektown visit. Location: the hotel was really close to Ford Field and the staff and the casino for 1hr. And it's not too far from The Ham Shop, ate there once or twice. Knowledgeable, attentive staff, were eager to help. The food was outstanding, drinks were fine👌

The hotel was a perfect base for enjoying a safe area, close enough to Detroit as well as bars. The room I booked was cleaned and available with whirlpool. I liked cereal and muffins for breakfast.

Here's my unfiltered experience

I enjoyed a wonderful stay with spacious and comfortable rooms. The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions without needing public transport. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Noise from the surroundings could disrupt your relaxation. The food was good, and the valet service was friendly, but parking could be more straightforward.

Had a fantastic stay for a Greektown visit, glad I've chosen it.

The room was impressively spacious and comfortable. The shuttle services to local venues were a fantastic perk, and the drivers provided great insights about the area. The front desk staff during check-in lacked friendliness and didn't offer directions. The breakfast order was late, missing condiments, which resulted in it getting cold before we could enjoy it.

Hotel is magnificent and fairly clean, has nicestaff and location.

Breakfast until 9:00 a.m. a little light and basic but free!! Parking 28$ per day in addition . Light wifi

I stayed 2 nights and loved the vibe here! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The bartender whipped up the best blueberry Long Island cocktail, OMG. The location is perfect, just a stroll away from downtown spots and lots of food options. One bummer was the cleanliness. Found some not-so-great stuff between the beds.

great design, great room - great comfort through the suite. air conditioning can be controlled by yourself - another plus! nice bartender in the evening.

check-in could have been more friendly with information about the surroundings. information about breakfast was only available on request.

Business travelers want luxury but beware

Room was huge and nice. The staff was very cute, especially the beautiful lady at the bar who served me an very nice blueberry Long Island cocktail. It was like drinking a party in a glass, trust me.

Look, it wasn't exactly low-cost but for the overall experience, I'd say it was tolerable.

Everything was fine!

The hotel shuttle service was great. They would shuttle you anywhere downtown Detroit for free. This is a good value and convient to Greek Town, Comerica Park and Ford Field as well as the theatre district.
